The Emergency Department operates 24/7, responsible for receiving, classifying, and promptly managing emergency cases ranging from internal medicine and surgery to trauma and critical conditions. The department is located on floors G and B1 with a separate entrance, ensuring rapid access in all emergency situations.
The department operates on the principle of "Rapid Assessment - Correct Treatment - Timely Intervention” with a team of highly trained emergency physicians and nurses who are proficient in modern resuscitation techniques and work closely with multiple specialties to optimize treatment effectiveness and recovery opportunities for patients within the "golden hour."
II. Services & Specializations Provided
The Emergency Department performs a full range of advanced emergency and resuscitation techniques, including:
Reception and management of medical and surgical emergencies
Advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (ACLS), invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
Defibrillation and cardioversion.
Emergency treatment of myocardial infarction, acute coronary artery disease, and stroke.
Management of trauma, multiple traumas, and soft tissue injuries.
Performance of emergency procedures and minor surgeries: wound suturing, abscess drainage, and management of pneumothorax and pleural effusion.
Placement of central venous catheters and intraosseous lines when necessary.
Emergency outpatient transport when necessary.
